Q.  Some may say that the presence of VIP members in public is a threat.  Are you a threat?

A.  When properly defined, we are absolutely a threat.

" threat - a declaration of an intention to act as a force against some position or action."

By this definition we may be considered a threat, but only to those who are in a position, or take a course of action, in direct
violation of the Constitution of the United States of America, as amended.  (e.g., law enforcement is a threat to criminals.)

Q.  Do you believe yourselves to be some sort of law enforcement?

A.  As U.S. Armed Forces Veterans, we have a lifelong commitment to defend the Constitution of the United States of America
against all enemies, foreign and domestic.  VIP members are prepared to act in upholding their oath to the United States,
subject to all Federal, State, and Local laws.

Defense of our lawful citizens against criminals in our Country is our heroic mission wherever we are found on patrol.

Our presence is a deterrent to crime, whether we patrol on foot, on bicycle, in a vehicle, etc.

Q.  What do you say to Veterans who believe that their area of the country doesn't need VIP Veteran visibility?

A.  Criminals always look to commit crimes wherever they believe no one is going to intervene, the path of least resistance.

Veterans across the entire United States are encouraged to join and become visible VIP Veterans in their community.

In the face of resistance, criminals will leave the area and seek to commit crimes elsewhere.

We don't want 'elsewhere' to be a community where U.S. Armed Service Veterans ignored the call to join the effort.
